Centrevision is a 17-year-old Australian, family-owned business. We import CCTV and other security technologies into our Victroian wahouse and distribute nationally to our client base of registered installers. Due to the growth of the business we are now seeking a full time Warehouse person.
Warehouse & Basic Technical Support
The role covers 2 main areas: warehousing and basic technical support of installers, but may include helping cover other business functions where necessary.
Warehousing
The day to day of the warehousing role consists of:
- Accepting incoming deliveries and processing items to the Warehouse Admin for data entry
- Putting new stock on to shelves
- Providing shipping estimates for quotes
- Processing orders for delivery
- Picking stock from shelves
- Packaging for Pickup or Delivery
- Booking of outgoing deliveries
- Ensuring items booked are pickup up as per booking
- Management of stock on the shelves available for orders and bulk storage of incoming stock
- Management of the stock return process
Basic Technical Support
This part of the role is about giving basic technical support to installers and internal staff and supporting the returns process.
- Telephone and remote support, using TeamViewer, to Installers
- Assisting other staff with selection of items for customer orders
- Testing and verification of any technical issues with returned items
About You
- Warehouse background experience is preferred but not essential
- Must be physically fit (able to lift up to 25kg's)
- Strong understanding and commitment to Workplace Health & Safety
- Ability to take direction
- Punctuality, reliability, efficiency & sound work ethic essential
- Attention to detail essential
- Sound communication skills
- Have an understanding of basic computer networking (DHCP/DNS/Switches/Routers) - This is an advantage
